Greens. Grapefruit. Carrot.
It’s seemingly a good idea to combine 3 bases into 1 juice. Nutrient content sky rockets and immunity ratings top the scale. The downfall is that it is heavily concentrated and hard to get down.
The grapefruit sweetens and bitters the juice but overpowers the vegetables. Again, it tastes like a grapefruit juice with unidentified vegetables added to it.
I am with my family this weekend and while I am excited to share my juices with them, I will keep this one to myself. This is not a juice I would recommend for a novice. It is likely that I will get to a point where I just have to chug the rest to finish it.
I am slowly learning about grapefruit’s role in juice and this book seems to have different feelings about it then I do.
